ColorLogic Announces ZePrA 6 Smart Color Server Now with PantoneLIVE Support
RHEINE GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH has announced that it’s latest smart color server, ZePrA 6, now includes support for PantoneLIVE™, a cloud-based solution for digitally communicating color across the entire packaging workflow. Released this month, ZePrA 6 integrates PantoneLIVE in the Spot Color Module, allowing users to directly access spectral values of spot colors and use them for conversion tasks in ZePrA. With inclusion of PantoneLIVE, ZePrA is more versatile than ever before, ensuring that users have access to the most up to date color specifications regardless of where they are located. This ensures color consistency throughout any workflow, reducing opportunity for error, waste and rework.
“We are always looking to add features to our applications to simplify the workflow of our clients. Adding support for PantoneLIVE to ZePrA certainly eases the process of production for our users while maintaining the high quality of our product,” said Barbara Braun-Metz, Managing Director for ColorLogic GmbH. “This addition is especially valuable for the packaging market and will help converters more efficiently meet brand owner demand for consistent color.”
First released in 2008, ZePrA is a hot folder based color server for optimizing TIFF/JPEG/PSD/PSB image files and PDF data with DeviceLink and ICC device profiles. ZePrA’s primary applications include optimization or color conversion of CMYK printing data, installation in media neutral workflows with RGB data, and multicolor processing.
PantoneLIVE provides a secure, centralized cloud-based ecosystem for digital dependent standard colors to be stored, including PANTONE® and brand private colors. This ensures that a brand’s desired colors are coordinated and always up to date, while providing instant access worldwide to accurate color data to facilitate consistency in production.
For a limited time, ZePrA 6 users can contact ColorLogic for a free 60 day PantoneLIVE license to use within ZePrA, PantoneLIVE Visualizer and Adobe® Illustrator®.
