29 May 2017

The new version of ColorLogic's color server, ZePrA 4.5, is now available. In addition to several improvements and bug fixes version 4.5 comes with three major improvements:

  1. Incredible improvements of the conversion of PDF data that contains overprinting objects.
  2. Enhancements of the spot color conversion speed and spot color conversion quality. Additionally, the Spot Color Module’s use cases is extended for proofing scenarios.
  3. All profiles of the DLS Basic package are part of the ZePrA 4.5 Basic package now.

All customers who are using ZePrA version 4 or older have to purchase the upgrade in order to access version 4.5 of ZePrA. The ZePrA 4 licenses will not be valid for ZePrA 4.5 any longer and a warning message will be displayed. ColorLogic customers will need a new license which they are able to order from their preferred ColorLogic dealer. Customers who have a valid software maintenance agreement are entitled for a free upgrade and customers who ordered the color server after 1st of June.
