Implementing the ZePrA Color Server allowed the team to establish a media-neutral, in-house standard. Working in tandem with Enfocus Switch, the new version 7 ZePrA app for Switch—available via the Enfocus Appstore for every user of ZePrA 12 and higher—enables streamlined, interruption-free workflows. “Seamless integration without interrupting the workflow via hot folders is an important aspect here. By using job control files, the production lines remain tidy and yet very flexible,” Freund explains. “We even create and execute these job control scripts directly in the ZePrA Switch app, to simplify maintainability of our workflows without limiting decision logics.” (Job control files are scriptable configurations that leverage ZePrA’s powerful command line interface (CLI) to automate processing parameters—enabling efficient, scalable workflows across production lines.)
