DeviceLink Iteration and SaveInk for multicolor keep CoPrA ahead of the industry

ColorLogic GmbH
17 September 2019
RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH has released its latest profiling solution CoPrA 6, the control center for ICC color ICC profiling tasks. The most significant features are the new DeviceLink Iteration module, which optimizes the quality of DeviceLink profiles, making it perfect for high-quality proofing. The second is the SaveInk module that now includes support for multicolor ink saving DeviceLink profiles for increased efficiency.
What's new in CoPrA 6
CoPrA 6 brings overall new capabilities and enhancement to the features used every day. The Image Conversion tool generates multi-layered PSD files with different ICC conversions for easy color comparison in pixel-based formats. Profile creation is more comprehensive and intuitive with new tools that are easier to apply, such as the avoid dot-on-dot option to adjust multicolor separations for printing with AM screening. In addition, more linearization output formats compatible with Adobe Photoshop® and popular RIP platforms were added. These are just some of the many new productivity features added to CoPrA 6.
“We’re excited for our customers to experience all the new features of CoPrA 6 and how it will enhance ICC profile creation. Enhancements, quality improvements and ease-of-use reach every module in CoPrA 6. In addition, DeviceLink Iteration and additional multicolor capabilities demonstrate ColorLogic’s commitment to responding to the customer’s needs,” states Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic.
For new CoPrA users
New ColorLogic users will find CoPrA available in five different packages. Popular modules (i.e., SaveInk, Multicolor) can be added to any of the base packages. Upgrades to the latest CoPrA 6 are available with an active Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) or can be purchased at an upgrade pricing by contacting a ColorLogic Dealer.
